The room was very clean and met our needs. The suites offered some unexpected amenities such as free dvd rentals for the stay. The common areas are also very nice. The location made it easy to get to many of the nearby businesses. The restaurant next door can get a bit loud in the evenings. The “beach” area had a lot of goose poo and wasn’t very desirable.

This condo was perfect for us. It was clean and comfortable. It was nice having a restaurant and bar on the property. We'd love to come back during the summer.

Awesome unit. The lodge in general is very nice and the restaurant next door is one of the best around. Great views from the backyard/deck of the lake. Fantastic king size bed! One comment, we stayed with two kids, so having 4 chairs at the kitchen table would of been nice. It looks like there’s room. Otherwise, absolutely perfect “home away”.

The suite was clean and tidy. It had everything we needed. I would have liked to have few more spoons as we have young kids who want cereal and oatmeal in the morning. But that is obviously not a deal breaker. We loved that you could step right out the door to the water. Our oldest loved that the ducks tended to gather at the shore and there were plenty of rocks to skip. This was a great rental for families but I bet I would have loved it even if we didn’t have kids too. We would definitely rent this place again.

We enjoyed the amenities of the resort. It was nice to have a marina right on the property to rent paddle boards and a boat. In the evenings we enjoyed the large deck overlooking the lake. However, they lock the doors early, so we had to hunt an open door to get back in. It would have been nice to have card swipe access to get back in. The second night, a nice lady kept one door open for us. In the suite, it would have been nice to have 4 chairs at the table so we all could have eaten breakfast and lunch at the table. Also, the pilot light on the fireplace kept it pretty warm in the living area. It seemed like a waste of energy in the summer time to have to run the air condition more. The location to all parts of Deep Creek was perfect. It was a nice few days away for our family and your suite was a wonderful place to stay!

My husband and I visited this property with our three boys 7, 9 and 11. The room was very clean and comfortable with nice amenities and an adequate amount of space for sleeping and meals. We requested a roll away which gave us a bed for everyone. The hotel staff was helpful and the building is beautiful with many different places to take in the scenery of the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed our first vacation to Deep Creek Lake and hope to visit again.

Though we've stayed at other properties at Deep Creek, this was our first time at Silver Tree and it didn't disappoint! The cozy condo was well-appointed, the lake view was a delight to wake up to each morning, and the front desk ladies were so helpful. The “little touches” in our condo (complimentary coffee/tea, beautiful art, extra pillows in the closets) were the icing on the cake. We'd recommend Silver Tree to anyone looking for a peaceful get-away and can't wait to return!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at the suites. Our cozy unit had a balcony that faced the lake and beautiful decor. Our dinners at Dutch's and Ace's Run were wonderful. The 2 level lobby with the decorations and fireplaces made for a relaxing time after dinner. Also, the staff was wonderful and helpful!

We stayed on a whim, and we got the last room available for the weekend. Our stay was extremely pleasant. It was beautiful being right on the lake, and we enjoyed having a drink on the back porch in the evening. We would definitely visit again.

I was very pleased with the property! I was staying over with a wedding block as the event planner and thought that the property and rooms were very nice! There was a very loud guest above us and the front desk was very helpful with that situation.
